Karen Wood is a l986 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Allied Health Professions. Karen went on to receive a master of health science degree with an emphasis in orthopaedic rehabilitation from the University of Indianapolis in 1992.
Karen has enjoyed a career that has included working with a large variety of adult patients with differing conditions, including establishing an outpatient clinic in Angola, IN. While there she provided industrial consulting for work injury prevention and ADA compliance.
Karen is committed to utilizing research results to guide treatment techniques. She has contributed to this research through participation in outcome studies, and through a poster presentation at The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Karen is a member of the Association of Rheumatology Health Professions (a division of the American College of Rheumatology), and the Arthritis Foundation. She has served on committees in both organizations, and remains committed to educate other health professionals and the public in the management of arthritis.
Currently, Karen practices at the North Meridian location. For the last 12 years, she has specialized in the care of people with arthritis. It is both Karen's passion and mission to provide manual and exercise therapy to get individuals back to maximum function and recreation.
